What is the dress code?

For the civil ceremony at Carmen Municipal Hall: Smart casual attire is appropriate.

For the beach reception at Sea Eagle: Beach formal or resort elegant — think flowy dresses, linen suits, and comfortable yet stylish outfits. Earth tones and muted colors are preferred.

Here are our suggested colors:

Please avoid wearing white, ivory, or black. The bride is the only one in white! Also, consider wearing comfortable shoes for the beach!

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate guests who have been specifically named on the invitation. Please check your invitation for the names included.

If you received a plus one, their name or "and Guest" will be indicated on your invitation.

Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding an adult-only celebration (18 years and above). We hope this gives you a chance to relax and enjoy the evening!

The only exceptions are children who are part of the wedding entourage.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony — please keep your phones and cameras put away during the ceremony so we can all be fully present in the moment.

Our professional photographer and videographer will capture every precious moment. Feel free to snap away during the reception and share using our hashtag #SheenaSaysYesToJohn!

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by December 30, 2025 — that's one month before the wedding. This helps us finalize arrangements with our caterers, venue, and other vendors.

You can RSVP through our website or by contacting us directly. We truly appreciate your timely response!

Where should I park?

At the Cathedral: Free parking is available in the church parking lot. Additional street parking is available nearby.

At the Reception: Complimentary valet parking will be provided at The Grand Oakwood Estate. Self-parking is also available.

Will there be transportation between venues?

Yes! After the civil ceremony at Carmen Municipal Hall, we will travel together to Sea Eagle Beach Resort in Mabini, Davao de Oro.

The journey is approximately 2-3 hours. Transportation arrangements will be coordinated — please contact us for details or if you prefer to travel independently.

What if it rains?

Don't worry — we have a Plan B! The civil ceremony will take place indoors at Carmen Municipal Hall. For the beach reception, Sea Eagle has covered areas and contingency plans in case of rain.

January in Davao is typically pleasant and cooler — perfect for our celebration! Evenings by the beach are pleasant and breezy.

Will dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Absolutely! Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP, and we'll make sure there's something delicious for you to enjoy.

Our menu will include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. For severe allergies, please reach out to us directly so we can coordinate with our caterer.
